35: Joe Sanok on Making Thursday the New Friday
Joe Sanok is a fellow Michigander and TEDx speaker, business consultant, and podcaster. Joe has the #1 podcast for counselors, The Practice of the Practice Podcast. He joins the Mind Money Balance podcast to talk about what a birdbath had to do with shaping his relationship with money, the power of nuance, and challenging the way we think about work and money.

Taking it slowly. The founder of “Slow Down School” of course has to talk about being mindful and taking it slow, and what I appreciated about Joe’s take is how we can also practice pacing things when it comes to our money. If you are overwhelmed with the number of financial tasks at hand, choose one to focus on and go all-in on that for a while. Maybe it’s getting a spending plan in order, automating retirement savings, or negotiating a raise. Things don’t have to change all at once, and Joe shared this reminder during the interview.
