If anyone has internalized money stories, it’s got to be therapists. In grad school for social work, I heard everything from, “You didn’t go into this field to make money,” to “people who go into private practice aren’t really social workers.” In this episode, I’m welcoming in three different therapists who have worked through their money stories. We cover money stories from childhood and adulthood, overcoming fee-setting fears, and niching down to create profitable private practices. Huge thank you to my guests Alli Douglas Guerrero, John Sovec, and Courtland McPherson for showing up and being so transparent with topics that so many of us avoid.
